I am so excited to share this news: my podcast, Ground Control Parenting with Carol Sutton Lewis, has won a Gracie Award from the Alliance of Women in Media! My Gracie award in the Podcast-Educational category “honors outstanding original content that connects and engages the audience while facilitating learning or providing educational content on a topic”. My mission with this podcast is to inform and inspire parents raising black and brown children, and I am so honored and grateful to be recognized with this award.
To win a national award for my podcast in its first year is thrilling and motivating! I’m encouraged to continue with my work to share parenting best practices, showcase relatable and informative parenting stories, and let parents know that they have a caring and supportive place to learn and grow.
