HUGE NEWS!!!!  Our new podcast,  Ground Control Parenting with Carol Sutton Lewis, has launched!

In this weekly series, I’m talking about the joy and the job of raising Black children with fascinating folks who have valuable parenting experience, perspectives and advice to share. I’ve been writing about parenting Black boys and girls in this blog for so many years; we’ve got a LOT to talk about. In this podcast we approach the how-to’s of parenting Black children thoughtfully, practically, and with a healthy dose of fun. The well-being of our children and how we parent them are critically important issues these days, and this podcast is what we need now.

Producer, author, wellness expert and maternal activist Tonya Lewis Lee joins us for our premiere episode.  Tonya shares stories about how she was parented and how this impacted her parenting philosophies, her thoughts and advice on raising confident children, and much more.   In the weeks to come, news correspondent and author Deborah Roberts, filmmaker and author Crystal McCrary McGuire, and Harlem Children Zone CEO Anne Williams-Isom are among the amazing guests who will be joining us to share their parenting stories and advice.
